Rawalpindi also known as “Pindi” in short, is the 4th largest city of Pakistan by population after Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad simultaneously. It is neighboring the capital of Pakistan Islamabad often called the “Twin Cities” because of the geographically adjacent boundaries of both cities.
It’s located in the province of Punjab in the Potohar plateau. The word “Rawal” came from a Hindu Jogi Rawal who came to the area with his companions and settled down here centuries ago. Later on, the small town grew slowly and was named Rawal Pindi.
Rawalpindi is in the Potohar Region of Punjab, it is an administrative Division that consists of 05 Districts which are:
- Rawalpindi City
- Attock
- Chakwal
- Jhelum
- Murree
District Rawalpindi is further divided into 06 Tehsils which are:
- Rawalpindi
- Gujar Khan
- Kahuta
- Kalar Syedan
- Taxila
- Daultala
Pindi Boys:
